Logos aren’t exactly the first thing you think about when putting together a band, but like any other commercial brand you need an identity, and a simple image can provide a thousand words.
It is fair to say that if you asked someone to sketch Oasis’ or even say Scissor Sisters’ logo, they could probably give it as good a stab as any corporate brand like Pepsi or PayPal. The concept is an interesting one, as illustrated (no pun intended) here with some of the most memorable rock band logos.
